Breast Augmentation in Paris | Plastic Surgery | Dr Santini (2025)

Since the statues of antiquity, the female breast has been sublimated as a symbol of femininity and sensuality. That's why breast augmentation surgery is one of the most widely practised procedures in the world for achieving the breasts of your dreams. Dr Christelle Santini offers two main techniques, depending on the desired objective. Breast lipofilling or breast lipostructure is the least invasive method for moderate breast augmentation, while breast prostheses offer greater volume, with natural results thanks to anatomical breast implants.

What are the indications for breast augmentation in Paris?

There are two main reasons for wanting fuller breasts.

  • The first is a marked lack of breasts.

It may be a constitutive defect, most often of genetic origin, visible from adolescence onwards: it ranges from total absence (breast agenesis or atrophy) to breasts that are too flat (breast hypotrophy), via breast asymmetry.

This defect can also be acquired over the years, in the event of melting of glandular or fatty breast tissue.

  • The second case is that of a relative lack of breasts.

The breasts may be of normal volume, but the patient may wish to increase their size to enhance volume or projection. The aim is to enhance the curves of the breasts and décolleté, for an even more sensual and feminine bust.

What should I do before breast augmentation surgery?

For breast augmentation surgery in Paris, Dr Christelle Santini always begins with a double clinical and aesthetic examination.

She will pay close attention to the patient's expectations, in order to choose the most appropriate technique: she prefers the least invasive techniques to offer a natural result corresponding to each patient's wishes.

This first step can be accompanied by the production of medical photos, to perform a 3D simulation: the patient can then project herself to better see the expected result, and refine her request if necessary.

It's an important exchange stage, where surgeon and patient need to understand each other perfectly.

Dr Santini will outline the different techniques available, with their advantages, limitations and possible side-effects.

An estimate is provided along with a consent form.

By law, you must wait at least 15 days before undergoing any aesthetic procedure on your breasts.

Your surgeon will also detail the main recommendations, such as:

  • Do not take aspirin or anti-coagulants for 10 days prior to surgery, with the cardiologist's agreement;
  • Stop taking oral contraceptives 1 month before surgery to reduce the risk of thromboembolism;
  • Stop smoking at least 1 month before and 1 month after the procedure, to promote fat graft uptake;
  • Do not eat, drink or smoke 6 hours before surgery.

What breast augmentation procedures does Dr. Santini offer?

Breast augmentation with hyaluronic acid injections is prohibited in France, so as not to interfere with mammography screening by creating artifacts.

That's why breast augmentation is only performed surgically.

Lipofilling of the breasts Paris

The lipofilling or breast lipostructure involves taking the patient's own fat from another area of the body, and safely reinjecting it into the breast tissue. It is an autologous fat graft, with no risk of rejection.

This technique is the least invasive, but it has two limitations:

  • have enough fat to draw from elsewhere;
  • limit yourself to a moderate breast augmentation, allowing you to gain an average of one cup.

Breast implants Paris

The breast implants offers even more possibilities, especially with anatomical prostheses. Dr. Christelle Santini can work in three dimensions, offering a natural look that enhances the bust and curves of the breasts.

The latest-generation prostheses are perfectly safe: the shape-memory silicone gel does not leak in the event of accidental rupture of the prosthesis, while the textured envelope reduces inflammatory reaction and optimizes healing. The result is very close to a real breast, both visually and to the touch.

What to do after breast augmentation?

There is always a more or less marked inflammatory reaction, with swelling and bruising. Bruises resolve within a few days, and swelling within a few weeks.

Pain is usually moderate, but Dr Christelle Santini takes individual sensitivities into account when prescribing effective analgesic treatment.

You should expect to be off work for 7 to 10 days, with no heavy lifting for the first few days. Sport must be stopped for 6 weeks.

Wearing a medical support bra or elastic bodysuit is essential for around 4-6 weeks. The aim is to prevent the formation of effusions, and to facilitate deep healing and remodeling of the breasts.

Dr. Santini ensures post-operative follow-up with several visits, enabling her to adapt to the particularities of each patient.
